To Hal and Bacharach - Various Artists

This totally brilliant album was sent to me from the United States by
Shawn a most generous online friend who I met through this blog.
I think he picked it up on e-bay, its hard to get and out of print.
Some fantastic artists on this tribute album released in 1998.
One of the most eclectic I've ever seen oh and some of the
greatest tunes ever written.
Thanks Shawn.

Interesting idea, because the songs really are good, but the original productions can be bland and dated. Thanks!

I have this CD and it is fantastic. I do get strange, sideways glances when I mention it. I am pleased to know I am not the only one in the universe who owns it!

Any chance you could reupload this rar file? All the links are dead and I'm feeling incredibly jealous and nostalgic. :)

Fingers crossed! Thanks.

I found this cd at some little cd shop on Broadway in Sydney when it was first released & fell in love with it... until someone stole it from me. Glad to find it again!
