The Riptides Self Titled 1983 Album is a true classic in the canon
of classic Australian Albums. Jam packed with fantastic tunes,
beautiful pop music and loads of fun. This album captures the
spirit of the band and gives you a fair idea why they were so
much fun live.

Nice one, thanks for The Riptides.Appreciated.
Well that was an interesting experience. I'm only familiar with a lot of these songs from seeing them live and, to a far greater extent, listening to the Yellow-covered live double album ( "Resurface" ? ) and these originals seemed somehow a little thin - or perhaps they are just more subtle.
I'll have to give them another listen, now that my expectations have been reset.
Any idea whether the live album is available at all?
Hi Duncan,
Resurface it is, I won't post that its been done a few times before
you can fine it here

It wasn't actually live as far as I know but recorded live in a studio with crowd sounds added, May be wrong on that,
I do however have a real live riptides recording which is great and I will post that
