remembered Brisbane band Moving Parts and this leaflet
from a venue of the time.

Hi, Moving Parts track attached. I was the drummer in
another band (The Proteens), we used to play with this
band. Poster attached.
MP were I feel the best live band in this period of time.
I have no idea what happened to them.
These tracks were on a giveaway single from a gig.

I thought Moving Parts were by far the better of the two
bands that night.
Their song "Living China Doll" is still one of my
favourites from that era.

Moving Parts were indeed a Sydney band! Mark Woods was a friend of mine, he was based at Camden. Later on he formed 'Jump Incorporated' - their hit 'Sex & Fame' can be found on youtube - Mark is on guitar & vocals - man was it over a quarter century ago? ...sheeeez
Hi all This band was a Double J/JJJ fave back in the early 80s with the single China Doll getting huge rotation along with the Motivators with After the Fall. They did indeed evolve into Jump Inc who I saw several times in the mid 80s. Moving Parts played my old school Parra High in the early 80s. What a great single this was. Thanks so much for making this available. I have been hunting it down for years! Cheers

I sat in on the day they recorded the video for Living China Doll. The song got so in my head from hearing it so many times I ended up falling in love with it too and bought the single, with the printed cover of the snail, per above.
